What do I need to do?
You'll need to complete our Expression of Interest form! APC will help you gather essential documents such as your financials, job site photos, reviews, business registration and insurance details to complete your Employment History and Evidence Collection.
Is a licence a legal requirement for all applicators?
In QLD, all works over $3,300 inc. GST are required to be licensed by The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC). See below for more about QBCC licence requirements.
How long will this process take?
Once your eligibility is confirmed (STEP 3) APC fast-tracks you to obtaining your certification in as little as 2 weeks via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for experienced applicators.2
What does my APC Licensing fee cover?
For your MSF30822 Certificate III in Flooring Technology and APC's additional value package, there will be two instalments due at the start and end of your submission.

The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) supports Queenslanders by ensuring that builders are licensed and work is done to standard, while protecting the building and construction industry from unscrupulous contractors and working to help tradies get paid.
You are required to hold a MSF30822 Certificate III in Flooring Technology and the BSBESB402 managerial unit (included in the qualification) to be eligible to apply for a QBCC Licence.

Meet with the APC Team for a Pre-Enrolment Interview
We will go over everything you need to know about the process, what APC will help you with and what you will need to contribute from your end.

Your Pre-enrolment was Accepted
Success! Next you'll enrol in the RPL process and officially be on the pathway to your license!
Pay your 1st instalment
to get the RPL process underway (3 instalments in total).
STEP 4
Document Submission
Complete the Employment History and Evidence Collection form, including essential documents such as your financials, copies of invoices, job site photos, customer reviews, business registration and insurance details.
This is everything you need for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to acquire a Certificate III in Flooring Technology (Resin).

RPL Assessment & Gap Training Identification

APC's Licensing Pathway supports you to take all the steps needed to apply for a QBCC Licence. By helping you receive the required Certificate III in Flooring Technology (Resin), you will be eligible to hold a QBCC Licence.
